It then estimates the number of sprays in the bottle based on a typical atomiser output of 0.08 ml per spray. From there, it divides the total sprays by your sprays per wear to find total wears, and finally divides the bottle price by total wears to give you a cost per wear. You can also adjust how many days you wear the fragrance each week to see how long the bottle will last in months.

Understanding Fragrance Concentrations

Perfume concentration labels are not regulated worldwide, but they offer a useful guide. Eau de Cologne typically contains 2 to 4 percent fragrance oil, Eau de Toilette 5 to 15 percent, Eau de Parfum 15 to 20 percent, and Parfum or Extrait 20 percent and above. Higher concentration often means longer lasting scent on the skin, but that is not always the case. Skin type, weather, and the specific fragrance formula all play a role.
